Former ASOS director James Hart invests in Poq

We are very happy to announce that James Hart, former Director and ASOS’s first employee has just invested in Poq. He will be joining our advisory board and working closely with us on future product development.

James Hart, who was responsible for customer experience at ASOS over his 13 year spell, was also the driving force behind ASOS’s native apps on iOS and Android, which they developed as one of the first retailers in the UK. ASOS’s apps have been highly successful, Internet Retailer recently stated figures that 42% of ASOS smartphone users are now app only users.

James on joining Poq: “The possibilities for native apps to improve the customer experience, both on and offline, are more exciting than ever; but they have proven cost prohibitive and too hard for most retailers to realise. Until now. The Poq platform removes both of these barriers and the team behind it is at the forefront of the evolution of app commerce. I am therefore delighted to join the team as an investor and advisor on their onward journey.”

James Hart is joining Ivan Ramirez, ex VP of Groupon and B2B SaaS entrepreneur in this investment round.

To join us in changing the retail industry, take a look at our Seedrs crowdfunding campaign: https://www.seedrs.com/startups/poq or if you have any questions, send us an email to seedrs@poqcommerce.com.
