View from a fashion blogger- Fashion Rushhh

Tigerlilly Winfield is a 17 year old fashion savvy blogger from Brighton and founder of Fashion Rushhh – an official affiliate of leading indie etailers including Motel Rocks, Yayer and I LOVE 2 LOVE . When she’s not studying for her A – Levels she loves nothing more than hunting for high street bargains online. Tigerlilly’s also a great advocate of the blogging community, her favourite contemporaries include friends Fashion Junkie, Charmaine’s Closet and London’s Closet (formed by two 18 yr old twins who’ve been generating quite a PR buzz in the UK of late). Recently she aired her views to Poq on everything from highstreet shopping to her preference for mobile website over apps.

What percentage of your wardrobe do you buy online as opposed to in – store?
About 45%. I like going into shops and trying the items on before buying them. If they don’t have my size in store, then I’ll find the item online and buy it.

Which are your most loved brands to buy from online, and why?
ASOSTopshop & H&M. I love ASOS as it’s always free delivery and they almost always send out discounts every few weeks. Topshop as the Topshop near me is rubbish and doesn’t usually stock the clothes I want, I find them much easier online. And H&M as they also always put discount codes out which makes it much cheaper than shopping in store.

What features do you most appreciate when shopping from online fashion shops? i.e. Editorial content, free returns, styling advice, video content etc
Free delivery and free returns is most important for me, as I don’t want to waste money on delivery for a potential item that I might return. I also love video content as anything that has a play button immediately engages me.

If you have a smartphone, do you have any fashion apps on it? Which are your favourites?
I have an iPhone and I don’t have any fashion apps as I don’t really like them. I have had them in the past and found them annoying. If they’re brand apps like the H&M app for example I find it hard to navigate and find what I want, I end up just going on the original website I find it so much easier.

What’s your favourite social media channel for connecting with fashion brands?
Email and Twitter.
