Alex Austin

While still an undergraduate at Santa Clara University, Alex began his working career at NASA Ames, where he authored and contributed to 8 published papers on nanotechnology. During and after earning his MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford, Alex worked at Miasole where he contributed to 2 granted and 6 pending patents and helped set the world record of thin film solar panel efficiency 3 consecutive times. While studying at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Alex wrote 6 mobile apps for Android and iOS. One app, Kindred, was featured on the Apple App Store homepage for 4 weeks and as best new app of 2013 by Google Play. After earning his MBA in 2014, Alex sold his mobile apps to concentrate on Branch.

Balint Szeplaki
Head of Product at Poq
Prior to building a 12 year career in product management, Balint received his BSc in Economics from the International School of Business in Budapest. After his studies, he applied himself as a product leader at a number of startups including the development of mobile contextual network switching software and proximity marketing tools at Airsense, and the evolution of native app platforms for travel companies at Mobile Travel Technologies. At Poq, Balint heads the product team, looking after our technology platform and ensuring a future proofed product that will improve retailer success.

Andy has worked in the technology industry since 2008 working at Oracle, Sprinklr and Tealium before joining Poq to champion app commerce. In that time he worked and partnered with some of the world’s most innovative companies helping them deliver higher revenues and more efficient operations.
